Hello, caricaturists[NIGAOE artists]
My name is Tomoko Ogawara, an illustrator who mainly draws caricature[NIGAOE] works of politicians on newspapers.

We hosted the first NIGAOE EXPOSITION with approximately 50 artists at Sunshine 60 Sky Gallery in Ikebukuro, Tokyo in 2006. We hosted the second EXPOSITION at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space in 2009. At that time approximately 100 artists participated with their best works and artists' sheets (forms for questionnaire concerning caricature) put side by side. This event made the headlines in newspapers and we received a great response.

In preparation for the coming third NIGAOE EXPOSITION that is to be held in 2010, here I am calling for entries for caricature works and the completed artists' sheets from around the world.

We have already accepted entries of Mr.DAVID CAWLES, Mr.ZACH TRENHOLM, Ms.YONIE WOO, Mr.MEL LOTLOP, Ms Rhoda Grossman and some other artists. I will just need you to send your works and the sheets via email. I will frame and display your works on our website as well as at the EXPOSITION venue in Japan. The technique of caricature how to give the works a resemblance to their subjects is what both artists and public viewers are interested in very much. I really would like to ask for your help with us for our coming EXPOSTION in order to boost the caricature culture. Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.
